From 20-22 September 2023, BITEC, Bangkok was abuzz with industry professionals as the show floor put the spotlight on metallurgy and foundry technology alongside the wire, cable, tube, and pipe sectors at the co-located trade fairs: GIFA and METEC Southeast Asia, and wire and Tube Southeast Asia.
Well-established trade fairs wire and Tube Southeast Asia staged an impressive comeback alongside the debut of GIFA and METEC SOUTHEAST ASIA, exceeding expectations with 244 exhibitors from 32 countries, and close to 6,000 visitors from 60 countries, which included 30 percent coming from outside of Thailand.
The foundry and metallurgy industry in Indonesia can look forward to the staging of GIFA and METEC Indonesia in 2023 as these specialist trade fairs make their debut alongside the growing foundry systems, die casting technology and metallurgy sectors. Jointly organised by Messe Düsseldorf Asia and PT Pamerindo Indonesia (part of Informa Markets) the first edition of GIFA and METEC Indonesia will take place from 13 to 16 September 2023 at JI Expo, Jakarta, Indonesia.
In a strategic expansion into the growing foundry systems, die casting technology and metallurgy sectors, Messe Düsseldorf Asia will present two new specialist exhibitions to the Southeast Asian market - GIFA and METEC Southeast Asia dedicated to these industries and catering to the region. The biennial exhibitions will take place from 5 to 7 October 2022 at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand.
